After the results of a report by the Commissioner for Older People in Northern Ireland (COPNI), attempts are being made to put CCTV into nursing homes and to make it a legal requirement of contracts in the future.

Both covert and overt CCTV would be put in place to keep an eye on those caring for the elderly.
