costco-cctv-installationHD CCTV stands for High Definition Closed Circuit Television. HD CCTV is essentially a step up from standard analogue CCTV that allows users to upgrade from their analogue setup without too much disruption to their system. Essentially, you can upgrade an analogue CCTV system simply by swapping the analogue cameras for HD versions. This ensures that CCTV footage is in a higher definition and therefore makes it easier to identify any potential suspects.

This is because HD CCTV systems are ultimately limited whereas you can grow an IP CCTV setup organically with less reliance on cables and have more control over where you place your cameras. They still remain a cheap and simple to use system however and can be a good choice if you are on a budget.
